· Stand straight with a barbell on the floor in front of your feet.

· Straighten your knees to return to a standing position. Keep your arms straight as you lift the barbell.
· Bend your knees and keep your arms straight as you return the barbell to the ground.

· Stand with the barbell behind your head, resting across the backs of your shoulders.
· Grip the barbell firmly with both hands.
· With your head up and body vertically aligned, sink into a squatting position.
· Keep your chin up and back straight.
· Rise back into a standing position.

Bench Press  - (works - triceps, biceps, shoulders, chest & upper back)

· Lie flat on your back on the weight bench with your knees bent and feet on the ground.
· Grab the barbell with both hands and lift it off the rack.
· Gently lower the barbell to your chest, bending your arms at the elbow.
· Raise the barbell by straightening your arms.
